Hear the story of a sunken Spanish galleon
This walk has it all. A variety of hill and coastal walking. Sea-caves,cliffs, arches, sea bird nesting sites. It brings you close to the history of the place with ruins of a napoleonic watch-tower, a megalithic tomb and a holy well know for its miracle cures.
This is a beautiful part of Connemara that is mostly overlooked by tourists mainly because of limited access.

Due to Covid19 and social distancing regulations, it is currently necessary that you have your own transport to the starting point of the tour.
We’ll meet at the Clifden town centre (at the Alcock & Brown monument) at 9.30am.
